This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect about you, how we collect and use it, and the uses to which we might put it, including any other parties to whom we may transfer your personal information.

What personal information do we collect?

  • Whether you obtain products/services from PNI directly or via our selected partners (e.g. authorised distributors of our products/services such as stores, supermarkets and photo service providers), certain personal data about you will be held by us. Your personal data may be collected by us (or on behalf of us by any of our selected partners involved in providing you with our relevant products/services) when you are required to pay for our products/services or when you access some of our products/services over the internet. In these circumstances, we will need to collect, as applicable, your general contact details, your e-mail address, card holder address, delivery address, credit or debit card number and type, card start date, card issue number and card expiry date. Your credit card details are stored securely and separately from other information and are never re-used except to fulfil your order.
  • To enable us to improve the quality of products/services provided, we also need to collect information about your computer system, including (but not limited to): IP address, free disk space, display resolution, colour depth and order upload duration.

What do we do with the information we collect?

  • We will use the personal information that we gather from you to improve the products/services we provide to you and provide you with products/services which may interest you. For example, we monitor traffic patterns and usage of our service to help us improve the design and layout of our service and the features which we offer. We also aim to personalise our products/services by using your order history to help us select suitable products/services, and by working with carefully selected partners to let you know about other products/services that might be of interest to you.

However, we will not e-mail you or contact you by telephone, fax or post with any further offers, promotions or news, nor provide your personal information to any third parties (as applicable).
  • We may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will not include personally identifying information.

What is a Cookie and how does the Company use them?

Our Responsibilities- How does PNI protect customer information?

  • As required by the UK Data Protection Act of 1998, we follow strict security procedures in the storage and disclosure of information which you have given us, to prevent unauthorised access. When you place orders or access your account information, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software encrypts both your photographic images submitted to us and all credit card information you provide to us.
  • At times, we may let you know about the products/services provided by carefully selected third parties. We will only deal with partners who comply with the UK Data Protection Act 1998 or whom we are satisfied have appropriate measures to protect data. However, in some cases a breach of security may be made by a third party for which PNI cannot accept responsibility.

Changes to Privacy Policy

  • We reserve the right to add to or change the terms of this Privacy Policy in our sole discretion, without prior notice to you. If we change this Privacy Policy, we will post the new Privacy Policy on the web site, and it will become effective from the time of posting to the web site. Please visit this Privacy Policy on a regular basis to make sure you have read the latest version and you understand what we do with your information.
